Larry Winn, CEO
A Northwest native, Larry's childhood time was shared between his home in Eastern Washington and family ranch in Montana. After graduating from Rice University in Houston, Larry had a brief stint in New York City and then returned home to the Northwest to work as a stockbroker for a few years. Bored and disillusioned with the stock market, by chance he stumbled into a sales position with a large art publisher of the time. This entry-level position in a still fledgling industry was the springboard that led to the founding of his own business, which flourished and became one of Inc. Magazine's "Fastest Growing 500 Companies". Ultimately, it was sold to a public company and is known today as the Winn Devon Art Group. His most recent venture is Grand Image, which is an art publishing and licensing business where he has assembled an experienced management team which allows him time to focus on what he loves most working with established artists and developing new and emerging talent.
Although his life seems to revolve around his business and sizable family (wife Susan, five children and seven grandchildren), he is an acknowledged Hoopaholic and season ticket holder for both the Seattle Sonics and the University of Washington basketball teams. If not watching or shooting hoops, he can also be found playing tennis a couple times a week.
Collecting art is Larry's other passion. His collection ranges from Contemporary Artists and Mexican masters to the canvases of younger, more emerging artists. He also has a sizeable print collection ranging from American masters such as Thomas Hart Benton or pop artists of the 60's such as Tom Wesselmann or Andy Warhol.
Larry's usual choice of the Northwest's favorite beverage is a double tall non-fat latte.

Lindy Gillespie, COO/Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Lindy Gillespie joined the Grand Image team in 2002, after watching the company establish a strong foothold in the marketplace. "I saw how Grand Image consistently developed innovative ideas, I knew of their commitment to their customers, and I recognized they had one of the most talented portfolio of artists in the industry. The opportunity to sell such an exciting and growing stable of images and artists was, and is, my dream job".
Lindy graduated magna cum laude from California State University with a Bachelor of Arts: Museum and Gallery Management. She began her career working in a gallery, managing monthly shows and selling art in a retail environment. Lindy then discovered the business to business side of the art industry; first as an art consultant and then in the publishing arena.
Lindy took a hiatus from the art world for several years and pursued a career as an account executive working with Fortune 500 and 1000 companies. She sold a portfolio of technology solutions which enabled companies to deliver their business models via web hosting and secure, reliable access to the internet.
When Larry Winn and Grand Image offered an opportunity to return to a career in art publishing she eagerly accepted. Lindy's initial position with Grand Image was account manager. She has since held the positions of Eastern Regional Sales Manager, and most recently, National Sales Manager. Currently she continues to lead the sales and marketing team at Grand Image with the dual title of COO and Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.
To rev up her day she has a Chai Tea Latte.

Barbara Adams, Administration Manager
Barb has been with Larry Winn since "the early days" of Larry's publishing career. Her versatility, organizational abilities, and strategic sales and management skills have been key factors in the success of Grand Image. Barb is integral to the administrative and sales structure of Grand Image. She helps keep the company on track each day, and her dry humor adds to the camaraderie in the office.
Traditional art is her preference, especially landscapes. But her favorite seascape is the view from the family's vacation cabin on the ocean. Whether there or at home, Barb favorite past time is spending time with her family and beloved dogs, Mardi and Chelsea.
She limits her espresso intake to one a weeka single tall latte, with the caffeine.

Dmitri Arbacauskas, Information Systems Support
Dmitri is the newest member of the Grand Image team. As a newbie, he is working hard to master all the daily challenges of his job -- playing librarian, archivist, troubleshooter and sometimes detective, all on a regular basis. While his job offers a lot of variety, the fact that he is one of the first people in the office to see the new artwork we receive from all our artists, is one of the aspects he always finds exciting.
He was hatched in a small lab somewhere south of Schenectady. Attended Miskatonic University and eventually landed in Seattle. A talented artist, Dmitri finds his inspiration in a lot of odd places - local artists like Cyra Hobson, Raven Mimura; the surrealists, especially Bosch and Dali; and other modern artists- Banksy, Christopher Farrell, and the like.
When he's not working, Dmitri enjoys time at home with his family, or working on yet more masks, props, and other bits for my own arts company, Tormented Artifacts. As if that wasn't enough to keep him busy, he also makes digital artwork and freelances as a writer to a few role-playing game companies.
Coffee for Dmitri is much more about the chemical content than the flavor. Though if he were to select a preferred beverage to just sit back and enjoy, it would have to be just a straight-up doppio espresso. Why? It's simple. It's basic. And it's more intense than some weak-kneed, watered-down, sugar coated, milk-diluted Charbuck's beverage of choice.

Because of his 25 years experience in the art industry, he understands how to lovingly treat our product, and is a great liaison with our artists.
Kelly has degrees in Fine Art and Psychology. He enjoys joking that he utilizes more of the latter in daily interactions with co-workers.
A versatile artist, Kelly has crafted ivory scrimshawonce renowned as the Great KA, Scrimshaw Master from Alaska (yes, there is more to that story). He presently fashions exquisite jewelry boxes created from real eggs, ranging from canary to ostrich.

Angela Bizzari, Art Acquisitions Manager
Angela's enthusiasm for her job comes from working daily with the Grand Image artists and their creative and inspirational talents. Always on the lookout for fresh and emerging artists, most of her day is spent looking at and working with fabulous artwork.
Angela is a proud native of Bloomington, Indiana. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Masters of Fine Arts in Photography from Indiana University. Shortly after Graduate school, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked in photography and the entertainment news industry. As a new resident to Seattle, Angela thoroughly enjoys the fresh air, Northwest cuisine and spectacular landscape.
An accomplished photographer, Angela has always admired the works of photographer Joel Peter Witkin. Her personal tastes also include etchings by Edvard Munch and the architectural beauty found in any church in Italy.
True to her Mid-west roots, Angela prefers a good ol' drip coffee with whole milk to start her day.

Mandi Brown, Manager Artlab North
Mandi grew up on Long Island, New York. Since childhood she has always been involved in art, in one form or another. In high school Mandi studied art and architectural drawing, but it was an elective class in black and white photography that led her to pursue a BFA in photography at Long Island University.
After a two and a half year stint as a photography studio assistant to Pete Turner, Mandi moved to Phoenix, AZ where she worked for a fine art reproduction company printing giclées until her relocation to Seattle. There, she accepted a position with Grand Image to manage Artlab North.
A fan of surrealism and creative vision, Mandi cites artists such as Keith Carter, André Kertész, Ruth Orkin, Henri-Cartier Bresson, Klimt, Chihuly, Nick Holliday (his collages), Chuck Close and, of course, Dalí as tops on her list.
Another newbie to the Pacific Northwest, Mandi enjoys going to art exhibits, catching up with friends, and traveling in her free time. She also enjoys the great local music scene and wandering off the beaten path to find interesting structures and places to photograph and explore.
Mandi prefers tea to coffee, specifically a cup of peppermint or a strong, smoky tea.

Madison Cook, Production Manager
Madison grew up on an apple orchard east of the Cascade Mountains in the small town of Lake Chelan, Washington. As a child, she was always drawing and painting or decorating her room. Courses in graphic design in high school along with a strong business sense led her to pursue a bachelor's degree in Art Marketing at the University of Washington.
She began her career with Grand Image two years ago as an intern in the Creative Department, while she was still in college. Since that time Madison has grown with the company into a new position with new responsibilities. As a Project Manager, Madison enjoys the constant interaction with her vendors, customers and co-workers and the dynamic and challenging nature of her job.
Madison's taste in art is extreme, perhaps because she gets to see all the great art that passes through the doors of Grand Image. She likes the works of impressionists Vincent Van Gogh and Felicien Rops, surrealist Salvador Dalí and the botanical collage prints of Mary Margaret Briggs.
When she is not managing projects at work, Madison can be found tearing up the slopes from Whistler, BC to Mission Ridge. When the weather is warmer she prefers to golf, hike, or participate in water sports. Returning to Lake Chelan to spend time with friends and family also tops her list of favorite past times.
Ever changing, Madison's current caffeine preference is an extra hot, grande, non-fat, caramel macchiato.

A. David Grosbach, Associate Account Manager
As an Associate Account Manager at Grand Image, Dave enjoys the daily interaction with his clients and being able to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
An East Coast native, Dave graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Art History. He has been moving steadily west ever since, working as a fine art appraiser at a gallery in New Mexico and as a docent at Site Santa Fe before settling in Seattle.
Dave's favorite artwork comes from the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist movements, with Monet, Prendergast, Van Gogh, and Childe Hassam topping the list. He admires the works of Nicolai Fechin, Martin Hennings, American Modernists such as Charles Demuth and Charles Sheeler, sculptors Rembrandt Bugatti and Harriet Frishmuth, outsider artist Henry Darger, Japanese artists such as Leiji Matsumoto and Chiho Saito, Milton Avery, Ralph Blakelock, Andrew and N. C. Wyeth, Paul Pletka, and American landscape artists such as Thomas Moran and Albert Bierstadt. He collects the work of New Mexico artist Douglas Johnson.
When he is not busy selling artwork from the Grand Image corporate headquarters, Dave enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and tinkering (with varying degrees of success) with classic and antique cars.
Why does Dave drink strong, black coffee? Because he prefers quantity over quality!

Jay Hall, Director GI ArtLab
Jay's relationship with Larry Winn began over ten years ago when he was an artist in Arizona. Years of collaboration have produced many best selling posters and original paintings. Today, Jay is heading up the newest Grand Image division, GI Art Lab, which gives both our artists and customers the ability to manipulate existing artwork in order to better serve their needs. As the director, Jay enjoys wearing many hats. He is a multi-talented individual and gets to utilize many of his skills including: construction, printmaking, framing, photography and digital capturing and enhancement.
A graduate of Beloit College in Wisconsin, Jay earned a degree in Geology but heavily favored Art History classes. His artistic influences are many and diverse, much like his personal collection. He cites Robert Rauschenburg's resourcefulness, Jackson Pollack's physicality, Gerhard Richter's versatility and Richard Wentworth's cerebral execution as tops on his list. Paleontologist Stephen J. Gould, architects Frank Gehry, Richard Neutra and E.L. Boulleé, filmmakers Peter Greenaway and David Lean and Abraham Lincoln, Elvis Presley and the 2005 White Sox are other influences.
His favorite way to spend his free time is with his wife and young son. Together they are in the design stage of a major remodel to their house in which they intend to do the lion's share of the work. When he can squeeze in the time, Jay still loves to play hockey.
To begin his busy day, Jay reaches for any derivative of caffeine that he can splash with half-and-half.

Steven Lantz, Customer Service Manager
Steven's working relationship with Larry Winn dates back to the late 70's in Chicago, when Larry and Steven first met. For the last twenty years, they have teamed up on business ventures such as Winn Galleries, Winn Devon Art Group and, since 1998, Grand Image.
For Steven, art publishing is continually fresh and exciting, with the challenges and decisions that each day brings. His straightforward honesty is a benefit to both Grand Image and its customers, as is his desire to be the best he can possibly be.
Steven's own walls hold an eclectic mix of prints and originals, and he especially enjoys 19th century European art. At home, he relaxes in his garden, with a good book, or in his kitchen cooking dinner for friends.
His favorite fuel for the day? A decaf, double tall, non-fat latte.

Aimee McFarlane, Production Assistant
Aimee is truly a rare breed in the Northwest, that is, she is a native Seattleite. Not only was she born in Seattle, but she has lived in or near this city all of her life. After graduating from high school, Aimee attended Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington and received a liberal arts degree with a focus in Studio Art.
As a member of the information team, Aimee is one of the first to see new artwork and submissions from our artists as they come in-house. This appeals to her love of working with and around art and being exposed to new artists. Paired with her obsession with organization and genuinely enjoying turning chaos into order, makes Aimee the perfect person to archive and catalog all of our production files, documents and materials. Perhaps she was destined for her job, as she seems to bring with her the creative talents of her father, a graphic designer, illustrator and painter, along with the organizing sensibilities of her mother, an office manager.
It is the younger artists, usually those who are still students that inspire Aimee the most because she feels they are still learning their style and are thus less rigid and more willing to experiment. She also appreciates skilled artists that feel the need to learn and grow. Some of her favorite artists include Hans Bellmer, Ann Hamilton, Kiki Smith, Richard Serra, Nan Goldin and John Singer Sargent.
When she is not busy organizing at work, Aimee tries to fill her spare time painting, visiting the numerous galleries in Seattle, shopping and watching TV. Even though she feels TV gets a bad rap, Aimee believes it is an important reflection of our culture.
Although she is a native Seattleite, Aimee prefers chai tea or toddy to coffee, but occasionally she will enjoy a good medium roast carmel latte.

Devan Poffenberger, Senior Account Manager
Devan practically came into this world with a paintbrush in her hand. She loves making art and discussing art with anyone who will listen, which explains her successful career in sales for art publishers spanning the last five years.
Her favorite artists tend to combine abstract forms and ideals like John Baldessari in the Post-Structuralist movement but her favorite period in art history is the Italian Renaissance.
An East Coast native, Devan spends most of her free time genuinely enjoying life. Whether it's visiting art museums, traveling, hanging out with friends or even picking up fresh flowers at Pike's Place Market, she always has a smile on her face. Depending on the time of year, you can usually find her with her friends, in one of Seattle's many stadiums rooting on the Sonics, the Mariners or the Seahawks!
Always looking to spice things up, Devan's drink of choice is a spiced chai soy latte.

Leah Sewell, Account Manager
Leah hit the ground running when she arrived at Grand Image and has barely stopped to smell the roses. When she is not crossing the country to show artwork to her clients, Leah spends a majority of her day on the phone with her customers helping them find artwork that fits their needs. In fact, seeing a project through to its completion and realizing the results of a job well done is her favorite part of her job.
Growing up in Wisconsin, Leah had an eclectic Midwest childhood. She graduated with a degree in Communications and Art and after college she elected to pursue her dreams of working in the business side of the art world.
Artists who use color and distinctive forms or designs in ways that draw you into their work inspire Leah. She cites Louise Nevelson, Hans Hoffman, Gerhard Richter, Stuart Davis, and Betsy Johnson, the clothing designer, as a few of her favorites.
A newbie to the Pacific Northwest, when Leah isn't busy exploring Seattle, she enjoys hunting for vintage items at rummage sales and thrift stores, spending time with her friends and checking out the local music scene.
Becoming somewhat of a coffee connoisseur, Leah enjoys a dark roast French pressed with cream.

Molly Siciliano, Galleryi Manager
Molly is one of the newest members of the Grand Image sales team. She was born in Vienna, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. After completing high school, Molly moved to Missoula, Montana to attend the University of Montana where she studied Spanish and Literature. She received her BA in English and upon graduation, Molly moved to Seattle where she began her career in art sales and consulting.
Besides the friendly and upbeat work environment, the one aspect Molly enjoys the most about her job is that she gets to talk to different people all day long, from coast-to-coast. She also loves being a part of the creative process and helping her customers design artwork for their many projects. While she spends a lot of time doing business on the telephone, Molly is especially happy when her clients can come to Seattle to visit our showroom and experience our fabulous art firsthand.
The youngest of five children, Molly's large family is very close even though most of her family has remained back East. In the past three years, her extended family has grown to include six nieces and nephews and she expects many more to come. She admits to missing the east coast, but has really been enthusiastic about exploring the Northwest.
In addition to her passion for the artwork of Salvador Dali and Amedeo Modigliani, Molly is quite the foodie and loves cooking and having friends over to share a great meal. In her free time, she tries to travel, particularly to Spanish speaking countries because she is fluent in the language. She credits Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Rome and London as her favorite cities to visit.
True to her paternal roots, Molly's first choice for a coffee beverage is a cappuccino made to perfection that can be enjoyed slowly, especially after a good Italian meal.

Kamilla White, Fulfillment Assistant
The fact that she gets to look at fabulous art all day long is the coolest part of her job, according to Kamilla. Other aspects of her job that she really enjoys are photographing artwork for our Digital Image Directory and website, and handling shipping and inventory.
Although she is a Washington native, Kamilla spent some time living abroad in Dublin, Ireland and London, England as an adult. She received a BFA from Washington State University with a Major in Painting and Minor in Ceramics. She also studied at The Academy of Realist Art in Seattle. Kamila is a huge fan of Surrealist art, especially Salvador Dalí, René Magritte, H.R. Giger, Michael Parkes and James C. Christensen and also enjoys fantasy and comic book art.
When she's not at work, Kamilla is making her own art (drawing, painting, sculpting, sewing and taking photographs), which she exhibits at local galleries and in her own studio. She and her partner Cliff, who is also an artist, like to participate in role-playing games with friends, attend roller derbies, watch movies, spend lazy afternoons at the local pub, read, and browse art galleries and museums.
Environmentally and socially conscious, Kamilla sips organically grown, sustainably harvested, bird-friendly, fair trade French Roast drip coffee with a generous splash of antibiotic-and pesticide-free organic half-and-half from happy free range cows.
